She tapped their glasses before pushing her hair off her face and downing it, then slammed it on the bar. “Plus!” She shouted to the bar man, hoping he could understand her awful accent.

“I hope you didn’t bring me here just so you could get wasted.” He was smiling but slightly concerned with how quickly his cousin had emptied the two glasses. “Come on. Where does our adventure in Paris lead us next?” He stood up and pulled on his gloves while he waited for her to hand the card over to the bar tender.

She paid with Mycrofts card, laughing and watching as Hamish pulled his gloves back on. “Not just for that but it’s definitely and plus. As for where next, I think I know a party somewhere around here…” Taking a flyer off the bar and reading the English part with the address and a little map, she held it out for Hamish to look at.

Tomas rolled his eyes, but regarded her seriously enough.  ”I’m sure I can handle you.” He then smirked, “Is it me that you can’t handle?”

“Come on, you could use a little excitement although I admit you’re still a little of a mystery.” She moved a hand to his waist again and resumed dancing “Are you going to tell me anything about yourself besides being my cousins brother?”

He stepped in closer to her, moving with her easily to the music, and shrugged softly.  ”There isn’t much to say. I like what I like-” He winked, “-and sometimes, I get into trouble for it.”

He saw Alex and Allie leaving to the balcony from behind Eliza and noticed the time.  ”It’s almost time.” He pointed out.

“Trouble?” There was a hint of excitement in her voice at that moment, a little bit of mischief. She watched Alex go, and then turned back. “I’ll catch up with him later, how long is not long?”

“Yes, trouble.” Tomas replied with a grin. “I do like it, don’t you?”

He went to continue, but everyone began to count down, and He reached forward daringly as the bells began to ring, placing a kiss on her lips.

Eliza’s eyes widened, in shock at what had just happened. Did he…? But…? Yet she could still feel his lips on hers. Not reacting due to the shock a million thoughts ran through her head and yet not a single one was helpful.

It was late and yet Eliza had come in way too far gone again, reaching into her fathers gin cabinet for yet more to drink. Only she had become frustrated with the bottle, smashing it on the floor in a fit if anger and cutting her fingers trying to pick up the pieces. She needed to calm down, which is what she attempted as she picked up the fragments of broken glass and took them out to the black bin outside the front door however as she turned back she saw that the front door had closed again behind her.

Running up to it and drumming against it with her fists meant that passers by stopped and stared to get a good long look at the locked out drunk girl as she shouted “What you fucking looking at?!”

She was sitting on the kitchen side just the way father hated as she waited for Otto to get home. She’d had the best day but breaking the news to him was another thing. She wasn’t really a private person but there was some parts of her life she didn’t want the whole world knowing. Eliza and Tomas had talked, they were now something but nothing serious. She still wanted to be young and enjoy it, he’d just agreed to always be there.

Taking a sip from her mug she heard the door open and figured baby bear must’ve been coming back from a day out with Lily. Funny, seemed they just couldn’t resit the Hooper-Adler kids. Pressing the lever on the kettle she called out, “Two sugars? Not that you need them baby bear you’re sweet enough as it is.”

Otto checked his watch: he wasn’t used to get home so late, but since he started going out with Lily, it was normal. Absolutely normal. It was just a part of growing up, even if he missed be able to catch up with his dad between two shifts at Scotland Yard or his father. And he missed the few minutes with Eliza.

He opened the front door happily, focusing on any sound coming from the house in order to realize if someone was actually home.
He smiled hearing Eliza’s voice and moved to the kitchen.
“Yes, two would be lovely. I actually need them.” Otto answered. He kissed Eliza on the cheek. “How was your day, Liz?”

She took his kiss and then opened her arms to squeeze him tightly. “How can we live in the same house and yet hardly ever see one another? My day was great actually, did you have fun out with Lily?”

Eliza let go to grab a mug and a teabag from a tin, pouring the boiled water in and adding the milk as well as the sugars.

She searched out, looking for a bar to start with because none of the clubs would really be open at this time. Picking one on the street corner and entering with a smile, it was hard to see through all the smoke fumes. Taking a seat at the bar itself, she ordered what she hoped was two glasses of absinth. “When in Paris!”

Hamish grinned taking in the sights and sounds of the bar. Their drinks were brought over and they seemed to be correct. So far so good. He held his up in a cheers to his cousin. “To the greatest cousin and birthday present I could ever dream of”

She tapped their glasses before pushing her hair off her face and downing it, then slammed it on the bar. “Plus!” She shouted to the bar man, hoping he could understand her awful accent.

Eliza knocked on the door of 221B. Thanks to Tomas, she was seeing less and les of Mish and it had almost been two months now. She missed him like crazy. Becoming impatient and knocking again, she shivered slightly.

Hamish heard the knocking at their door. He was busy searching for any leads that might help with the robbery he had been helping Lily with and assumed someone else would get the door. When a second knock came and he dragged himself away and headed down to the door. He opened it and a grin spread across his face. “Liza!” He pulled her into a hug.

She wrapped her arms around him and squeezed him tight, burying her face in his chest and just standing there in his doorway. “Seriously missed you Mish.”
